Da der Papst immer weiß gekleidet ist und der [Jesuiten-]Generalobere schwarz, ist der Kontrast offensichtlich. Aber jene Romanisten, die die Jesuiten nicht sehr lieben, und ihre Zahl ist nicht begrenzt, verwenden den Begriff als Hinweis darauf, dass der Schwarze Papst über den Weißen Papst herrscht … auch wenn der Erstere [d.h. der Schwarze Papst] verpflichtet ist, dem Letzteren zumindest eine Unterwerfung zu zeigen.“
