Quote by Benjamin Franklin about the conflict between beautiful theories and brutal factsCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"One of the greatest tragedies of life is the murder of a beautiful theory by a gang of brutal facts."

Quote by Stephen W. Hawking about the complexity of solving motion of three bodies in Newton's theory and understanding matter lawsCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"We cannot even solve exactly for the motion of three bodies in Newton’s theory of gravity, and the difficulty increases with the number of bodies and the complexity of the theory. … We already know the laws that govern the behaviour of matter under all but the most extreme conditions. In particular, we know the basic laws that underlie all of chemistry and biology. Yet we have certainly not reduced these subjects to the status of solved problems…"

Quote by Harald Lesch about the intersection of natural sciences and theologyCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"It seems as though the natural sciences will never be able to lift the veil on the mystery of creation. For the scientist who has lived by faith in reason, the story ends like a bad dream: he has climbed the mountains of ignorance, he is about to conquer the highest peak—and as he pulls himself over the final rocky ledge, he is greeted by a group of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries."

Quote on the irony of modern paleoanthropology from GEO-Magazin June 2011Copyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"Modern paleoanthropology is a field of research not without irony: it lacks the very objects of study. … It is as if one were trying to write the history of Central Europe on the basis of nothing more than half a Roman coin, the handkerchief of a maid from the Wilhelmine era, and parts of a microphone […] And so the question of humankind’s origins still remains one of the great, unresolved mysteries of the natural sciences."

GEO-Magazin, Juni 2011

Quote by Malcolm Muggeridge on the theory of evolutionCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"I myself am convinced that the theory of evolution, especially to the extent to which it has been applied, will be one of the greatest jokes in the history books of the future. Posterity will marvel that so very flimsy and dubious a hypothesis could be accepted with the incredible credulity it has."

Quote by Ulrich Bahnsen about the constantly changing nature of the genome and new perspectives in geneticsCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"The genome was considered to be the unchanging blueprint of human beings, determined at the beginning of our lives. Science must now abandon this idea. In reality, our genetic makeup is constantly changing.

Two years ago, 25 geneticists gathered at the University of California, Berkeley, to answer a seemingly simple question: What is a gene? However, the attempt to precisely define the basic concept of their field proved to be extremely difficult. The meeting of experts almost ended in disaster, recalls Karen Eilbeck, professor of human genetics at Berkeley and host of the roundtable: “We had hours of meetings. Everyone was yelling at each other.”

The dispute in Berkeley had little to do with researcher vanity. It was the first sign that the life sciences—still unnoticed by the public—were on the verge of a turning point. What researchers are uncovering in the chromosome strands of humans and animals is breaking with previous patterns of thinking in genetics. Much like at the beginning of the 20th century, when Einstein and his colleagues formed a new physical worldview, the age of relativistic genetics may now be dawning.

Medical research in particular is facing new challenges. Initial outlines are becoming apparent: the body and soul, their health, illness, development, and aging are subject to a genetic interplay whose complexity exceeds all previous ideas. Geneticists must abandon their image of a stable genome in which changes are pathological exceptions. Everyone's genetic material is constantly undergoing change. The result: every organism, every human being, even every cell in the body is a genetic universe unto itself."

Quote from BioNTech about BN162 (Comirnaty) vaccine effectiveness against alpha and beta variants and booster recommendationsCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"The current BN162 (Comirnaty) vaccine can induce antibody formation against the alpha and beta variants under laboratory conditions. No data is available on later variants. There has been no variant adaptation of the vaccine since the start of the vaccination campaign, and no adaptation is planned for the boosters. There is no general recommendation for a booster, and the benefits of vaccination must always be weighed up on an individual basis,"

Quote by Christian Drosten explaining the necessity of the third vaccine dose due to the original vaccine targeting an outdated virusCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"The vaccine was not specifically designed for the Delta variant, but for a virus that is no longer circulating today, says the virologist. Therefore, the third dose is now necessary for everyone."

Quote by Stefan Oelrich about mRNA vaccines as an example of cell and gene therapy and their impact during the pandemicCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"The mRNA vaccines are an example of cell and gene therapy. If we had conducted a public survey two years ago and asked who would be willing to undergo gene or cell therapy and have it injected into their body, 95 percent of people would probably have refused. This pandemic has opened many people's eyes to innovations in a way that was not possible before."

Quote about vaccinations by Dr. med. Gerhard BuchwaldCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"Today's vaccinations are based on the same flawed scientific experiments as the smallpox vaccination. Yet we are told that science has made progress. With a single scientific paper confirming the vaccination theory, my book "The Business of Fear" would have had to be permanently removed from the market."

Quote by Julian Huxley about the importance of UNESCO examining eugenic problems carefullyCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"Auch wenn es sicher richtig ist, daß eine radikale eugenische Politik für viele Jahre politisch und psychologisch unmöglich sein wird, wird es für die UNESCO wichtig sein, dafür zu sorgen, daß das eugenische Problem mit der größten Sorgfalt geprüft und die Öffentlichkeit über das fragliche Thema informiert wird, damit vieles, was heute undenkbar erscheint, wenigstens wieder denkbar wird."

Quote by Michael A. Klaper about humans drinking milk from another species being unnaturalCopyright © yoice.net – Quote Artwork

"People are the only animals that drink the milk of the mother of another species. All other animals stop drinking milk altogether after weaning. It is unnatural for a dog to nurse from a mother giraffe; it is just as unnatural for a human being to drink the milk of a cow."
